UPDATED: June 12
During the span of two days, 1,453 players were selected in Major League Baseball's first-year player draft. Six attend and play for high schools in the Delaware Valley.
I'm not really sure what to make of that number. I don't really have anything to compare it to, but my gut tells me maybe it's a little low, considering there are several names not on this list that will be playing Division 1 baseball next year and had been projected to be drafted.
Below are the 2007 super six, plus the round each was drafted, some of their vital stats, and any other information I was able to glean from the internet:
Round 18, pick #563 of the Philadelphia Phillies
Mark Adzick, 18, William Penn Charter School
6-foot-4-inch left-handed pitcher, signed letter of intent with Wake Forrest
According to PerfectGame.org (from 2005): Adzick is a very projectable southpaw with three solid present pitches that are just going to get better. He touched 85 mph with his fastball and his 70 mph curveball and 75 mph change are potential plus pitches. High ceiling young talent!

Daily News reporter Ted Silary wrote more about Adzick in a story published Saturday.
Round 20, pick #621 of the Houston Astros
(Jeffrey) Kyle Greenwalt, 18, Souderton Area Senior High School
6-foot right-handed pitcher, signed letter of intent with South Carolina.
This season Greenwalt's fastball has consistently been clocked in the low 90s. and he throws a solid curve.
Round 25, pick #760 of the Washington Nationals
Christopher Berroa, 18, Pennsauken High School
6-foot-1 centerfielder, bats right/throws right, signed letter of intent to UNC Greensboro
According to Nationals Farm Authority: Another likely Dana Brown (Nationals' director of scouting) selection ... Speedy outfielder with above average arm. Very raw but projectable.
From BeisbolFan.com: The Dominican-born, 6-1, 185-pound center fielder has pro scouts’ attention after batting .500 with 23 extra-base hits and stealing 22 bases in 22 attempts in 2006. He runs a 6.4 60-yard dash.

Round 38, pick #1156 of the Los Angeles Dodgers
Matthew Szczur, 17, Lower Cape May Regional High School
6-foot-catcher, bats right/throws right, signed letter of intent with Villanova to play both football and baseball
The Courier Post described him as "a quick, athletic catcher." This season he batted .681 with four homers, seven doubles, four triples, and 20 stolen bases. He told the newspaper he is "almost 100 percent sure" he will pass on the Dodgers' offer and head to college.
Round 41, pick #1231 of the Atlanta Braves
Sheldon Johnson, 18, Deptford High School
6-foot right-handed pitcher
Compiled a 7-2 record with a 1.52 ERA and 83 strikeouts this season. He also is the starting quarterback for Deptford's football team.
Round 47, pick #1379 of the Seattle Mariners
Brett Oberholtzer, 17, William Penn High School
